The conference of; delegates ot hydro-electric i>ower boards yesterday carried a motion tq. -the effect that the Government should; obtain all the .money required for hydro-electric development. \ Mr Lundon (Dunedin),'. who moved the motion, said that the idea -was that the Government could, by borrowing for the boards in general, get the-money more economically than the boards could do^ by borrowing it individually. , ,-, Another remit was that the Cambridge Hbwer Board, in conjunction preferably with other boards, was depirousi of purchasing Horahora. from tlie Govemment. The. Minister said: "You've got two chances of getting' it—your own and Buckley's." Tho remit was withdrawn.
