DELHI, Aug. 2. The Jndian extremist leader Milah died from pneumonia at Bombay. This was followed by a great demonstration. The natives gathered outside thrt hotel where he died to view the body of tlieir leader, which was placed in a sitting position on the verandah. The remains were subsequently burned on the seashore amid scenes of mucli solemnity.

The Department of Justice has started a new war on profiteers, following the announcement of higher clothing prices. The officials have issued a statement to the effect that law-breakers who attfempt to fleece the public will be prosecuted.
