SPELL OF OUTBACK LIFE

[Press. Association.] (Received Aug. 3, 7.25 p.m.) BRISBANE, Aug. 3. The Prince, on- route to Maryborough, enjoyed a couple of days of cattle station life, including a kangaroo chase, and cattle mustering and drafting. He skilfully used a stockwhip that was presented to him. A race arranged between the Prince and a local lady rider resulted in a- half length win for the lady. Amongst those presented to the Royal visitor were a. number of aborigines, one gin distinguishing herself and causing much amusement by "singing in the aboriginal tongue. The Prince immensely enjoyed his short spell of out-back life.
