The following resolution was passed i nanimoiusly by a general meeting of service patients at the military hospital at Waipukurau—That this meeting of service patients upholds the opinion of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association which considers that all "conscientious objectors" should serve their full sentence according to la.w. : Further, this meeting considers, that they should be deprived of civil rights for life. ■ ;

The men state that the aittitude of certain parties towards "conscientious objectors" does not meet their approval, for they''are of opinion that had they developed *'conscience" during the. war they Would have been much better off to-day, both physically .and financially, instead of haying to spend many weary month's in hospital, siniply because, they forgot that they had such. £ thing as a "conscience." ■'
