WELLINGTON, Aug. 3. The Prime Ministe>r announces that a telegram has been received from the Secretary o-f State for the Colonies advising that the sum of £1,619,----069 has been placed at the disposal of the New .Zealand Government for distribution to New Zealand woojgi owcrsi on .account of profits eaiiied on the sale of wool subject to Imperial requisition up to March 31st, 1919.
The distribution of the anioiint aniong wool-growers ..entitled thereto v> ill be made by the Departnieait of Imperial Government Supplies immediately on receipt of certain information from the Government's wbo'lbrokers, which they ha.ye been asked to supply. . ;■■'■■■-
