CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE

Spa reports ) state: The Germans presented :v Noto signifying conditional acceptance, which the Allies *iro considering. Germany agrees to supply two million tons monthly for :«iix months, provided that the Allies withhold the occupation of the Ruhr, that a. mixed commission of Entente •{Hid Gei-man experts, proceed to Essen immediately to study and supervise the feeding of the miners and ■workmen, that Germany be given credits for the purchase of food, and that German v receive the future output of the Upper Silesian mines, or alternatively, 1,500,000 tons oj\ coal r»ionthly.
