MARY PICKFORD IN "THE HOODLUM."
The opportunity of her screen' enreer is afforded Mary Pickford in, "The Hoodlum," commencing at His Majesty's Theatre next Monday, her second picture from her own stucfio. It is said that she grasns it with both hands, and "delivers the goods." It might well be termod a picture of contrasts, this romance of the little girl who is heiress to wr> nlthr unbounded and snobbery uncher-ked, and wlio finds joy and love by going down among the deniaens of the slums, becoming herself a regular street urchin, grimy of frier? . and habilaments, but with a new, clean soul shining through the dirt. As "The Hoodlum," Mary is said to give unquestionably the greatest accomplishment of her already unique, enreer. The bo^r-pln.n is now open at Reid's Central News Agency.
