AUCKLAND,SJune 9. . 'At the Police' Court, Arthur "Symons, aged 21, who arrived from Wellington six weeks ago, admitted that he had since lived on the proceeds of thefts. He had broken into six Auckland warehouses, and had stolen petty -caah, in one instance £16, in addition to . cheques and promissory notes valued at £250, which he did not attempt to cash. He committed two burglaries one night. He was found,on i;he premises of the Totara Timber Company when the workmen arrived at seven o'clock in the morning, and was arrested. He pleaded guilty, and was c.o:mmitScd for sentence, and in the meantime would be sent to Palmerston North to answer four burglary .charges. , \ .
