LORD FRENCH INTERVIEWED.

A REBELLION UNLIKELY

CPBEBS ASSOCIATION.)

Australian and N.Z. CaUle Aasomfttiiofi

NEW YORK, April 11

The Chicago Tribune's representative interviewed Lord French, who denied that he stated to the Daily Express that he was "fed up" and anxious to resign.. What he actually said was that Vice-Royalty was not a bed of roses and he would not object to relinquish the job, but he was not resigning before the end of the year. A rebellion was not likely and could not bo successful. The Government was certain to retain command of the situation.
