AMERICAN RAILROAD STRIKE.
NEW YORK/ April 10. Nearly fifty thousand railroad workers in more than fifteen cities from New York to San Francisco are on strikcv, demanding increased pay. The strike is unauthorised by the union officials; '
■Chicago and New York are facing a, serioas food shortage. The officials declare that the railroad traffic is only 50 per cent, of the normal. More than twenty-five railroads arc a Seated.
