PARIS, April 2. ■, The Senate expressed confidence m the Government's domestic policy after M. Millerand, replying to a i-e----quest for information us to the Government's attitude towards Bolshevism, declared that the Government, intended, to enforce tho law. It would prosecute xhc,£© inciting the soldiers to disobedience, but the Government's hands must bo strengthened', therefore he would introduce a Bill for the nationalisation of the ]X>lice, the reorganisation of the Eandarmerie, and the control of the movements of foreigners in France. A number of foreign propagandists had already been deported. Tho police last night made several raids on Bolshevik circles! and arrested ■a number of the editorial staff of the Rosoviet. , Tho Echo do Paris states that the revolutionary movement in tho Rou : baix and Tmircoing districts or Northern France is assuming, large proportions. Syndicalists also organised a revolutionary court at Belfoa-t> and secretly tried and sentenced two hundred workers. The court's decisions resulted in many workers joining the strike movement. The General Federation of Labor has decided by a large majority on a 24-hour strife on May 1. m favor of tho Socialisation qf industry. _ The .coal strikers have decided to*, resume forthwith.
