Stewards' Handicap of 60 soys. (harness); second horse to receive 8 soys. and third horse 4 soys. from the stake. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 4.4 or better. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 5.0 or better. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 40s. Two miles. 5. Ladies' Bracelet of 50 soys. (harness); first horse to receive Bracelet valued at £35, or 35 soys. in cash, second horse to receive Bracelet valued at £10 or 10 soys. in cash, and third horse a Bracelet (valued at £o/ presented by J. Scollard, Esq. For horses owned for three months prior to the date of nomination by a resident of, and trained in the Provincial Districts of Nelson and Marlborough. Open only to horses trained by amateurs and ridden or driven by an amateur. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 4.10 or better. Nomination, 15s; acceptance, 20s. Horse to be nominated in the name of a lady. One and a half miles. 6. President's Handicap of 75 soys. (saddle); second horse to receive 10 soys. and third horse to receive 5 soys. from the stake. For Unhoppled Trotters only. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 5.24 or better. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 20s. Two miles. 7. Dash Handicap of 80 soys, (harness); second horse to receive 12 soys and third horse to receive 8 soys. from the stake. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 2.30 or better. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 20s. One mile. 8. Farewell Handicap of 60 soys, (saddle); second horse to receive 8 soys. and third horse 4 soys. from the stake. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 3.15 or better. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 20s. One and a quarter miles. RULES AND~REGULATIONS. 1. Nominations for all events will close on FRIDAY, 20th February, 1920j at the Secretary's office, Blenheim. Handicap will appear on or before Saturday, 28th February* 1920. Acceptances for all events will close on Wednesday, 3rd March, 1920, at the Secretary's Office, Bkiaheim. 2. All Races will be run tinder ihe RuFes of the New Zealand TrottLig Association. 3. AH Nomination and Acceptance Fees must be paid at the time of making such entry or acceptance. 4. Owners must give with Nomination the last three performances, and also the best winning time the horse has made. 5. Placed horses doing better time than that specified in their class may be nominated for a higher class event at the meeting. Nominations may be made at any time up half an hour after the finisn of the last race on the first and second days. 6. Every person applying for admission to any course, and every person entering or endeavoring to enter a horse for any race, and every person haying or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse shall be deemed to accept all the eondii tions and restrictions imposed or implied by the Rules of Trotting and to be barred from questioning the action of the Conference, Appeal, Judges, Association, Club, Racing Club of body, Ccnmittee, Stewards, officials, agents or servants in respect of any such person or horse, or any person connected therewith otherwise than is provided for in Part XXX., Rules of Trotting. 7. Provident Fund fee, One Pound, must be paid direct to the Association, before nomination, otherwise a fine of Five Pouds will be imposed. 8. Handicaps will be declared on the yard system. 9. The winner of any race after the declaration of the handicaps may be re-handicapped.
