CHANNEL TUNNEL SCHEME.

LONDON, Nov. 15. The Prime Minister informed a deputation that the naval and military advisers must examine the dangers of a surprise attack before the Government commits itself to the Channel tunnel scheme. If the report is favorable^ the Government will be vdlling to give general support. If otherwise it will accept no responsibility.
