COLONEL CHURCHILL'S REPLY

LONDON, June 7. In the House of Commons, on the motion for the adjournment to the 24th, Sir Donald Maclean referred to a rumor that Mr Lloyd George was weakening on the peace terms. He said he hoptxl that the blockade of Germany would be removed as soon as possible. Its severity fell mainly on those in no sense responsible for the iniquities of the war. . Colonel Churchill replied stating that Mr Lloyd 'George and his colleagues were striving to obtain a lasting peace.
