LONDON, May 2. The Daily 'Chronicle's Geneva correspondent learns reliably that a. ix>nfidential conference was held at Berlih on Saturday between the Government and the most influential, leaders of the Assembly, when thsy diseiissed the situation prior to the pe»cc delegation's departure. Herr Rantzau said lie was confident that h© would .secure vital concessions regarding the Saar Valley. He would refuse to sign terms involving its veiled annexation.
