TIMARU, Nov.. 20. Timaru appears to have erected deifenoes against the epidemic in good time. Both ofHcittl and voluntary workers now express the opinion that the disease is well in hand. The hos^ pital reports one death during tjhtv laisrfc twenty-four hours. At present forty .cases _ are in institution, three or which are described as severe.
