The Hon. Mr Russell stated that tho influenza was steadily being got in hand. Already some doctors had been released from Auckland.
Mr Massey stated that two ships wore expected with fruit within' a few days.
(sir James Allen informed the' House that the Defence Department was doing everything possible to combat the epidemic. Trained men had been despatched throughout the ■country to give assistance.
