Sir, —Despite all contained in Councillors McKenaie's and Cooke's letters, I cannot look back with regret to my voting in favir of the £10 payment. Further, 1 see no reason to add to or retract from my letter of Wednesday,.except to mention that I am not a member of the Sanitation Committee. Regarding Cuuncillor Cooke's reference to the "stretching of morality to suit circumstances," 1 feel justified in reminding him that "evil bo to him who evil thinks."
