fAtts. an<? N.Z. Assn. and RenteO LONDON, April 10. The War Office reports: During tho recent retirement on the Sommo tho casualty clearing stations fell into the enemy's hands. All the doctors, nurses, and patients were safely evacuated. The deficiencies have since been made good. The Australian and Canadian medical authorities generously helped, lending doctors and nurses during the evacuation under heavy fire. A number of casualties occurred amongst the medical and nursing personnel.
