The New York World's London correspondent interviewed Air Dillon, who said: "If the measure is persisted in an Irish settlement becomes impossible. The Irish Nationalists will resist the Bill by every means in their power. Both north and south Ireland solidly opposes conscription, which would have horrible and far-reaching consequences.
