A Russian naval communique deals with the general situation in the Baltic Isles on tfce 19th as follows: The Islands of oesel and Moon are definitely in the i'enemy'*s hands. The operations, on . Dago Island are hamipered by marshes, also because the -small garrisons are merely defending the coast. Tire: batteries at the naval laase in -Moon Soiund, including the btilk of the warships, tugs, transports, etc.. were transferred in an 'orderly manner fco a safer point at £he mouth of the Gulf of Finland, despite the enemy's opposition.
