A BULGARIAN STATEMENT.
READY TO END THE WAR
HER DESIRED ENDS ATTAINED
(Received Sept. 28, 1.10 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Sept. 27. The Bulgarian Prime Minister, M. Panaretoff, declares that Bulgaria is jready to end the war, having attained her desired ends. She. wants to retain territory v/hicli by language, nationality, and historic rights -belongs to Tier. fie cited President •Wilson's national boundaries state--meut that Bulgaria was not interested in Germany's Mittel Europa Empire plan. Bulgaria, preferred to fight with the Allies, but Germany had : made a more acceptable proposition. Bulgaria entered the war with the of regaining the Dobrudja, Macedonia, and parts of Serbia, which had been unjustly taken from Bulgaria. Bulgaria had no particular love for the Central Powers. The Bulgar armies fought only on the - Serbian and Roumanian fronts, and would not fight ogainst France or England and would make no offensive except to maintain-the territory now - occupied.
