THE NEW DANDIES
.Alter a season of three* weeks at Wellington, "The New Dandies" will make their appearance next Monday and Tuesday evenings in His ■ Majesty's .Theatre. - This is the sixth consecutive tour undertaken by Mr .•Edward. Branscombe's clever '"'Dandies,:', the': introduction being 'mad* by 't-lifj popular "Red Dandies" in
1J;12. Included in the present company are artists specially chosen for their individual excellence and versatility. Miss Dorothy Manning, tlie lyric soprano, was originally with the Green company, also Mr Harry Graham. Miss Linda Bradford, "a" very fine contralto, and Mr Andrew Pace^. were last in the Dominion in 1914 with the Orange. Company. Miss Ivv Dans, comedienne, and Mr Courtney Ford, comedian, are also of the Orange ' Company, .while' Mr John Wollby, the basso of the party, originally appeared with the famous '•Reds." Mr Philip Hardman, pianist., was for some time with the '•'Fink" company. With such an array of artists, the bill-of-fare will be on a par with the highest standards of previous companies, apart altogether- from the managerial contention that the new combination is the finest of its kind yet sent to -NewZealand. The plan will open at Cartwright's next Thursday morning.
