Griffiths Bros., Ltd., report on their weekly sale held on Saturday as follows:—The patriotic proceedings militated against the attendance, which was only fair. However, prices were fully maintained, and a fairly clearing was effected. Prices ruled as follows:—Cows, due early, £14. 14s; heifers, £7 2s 6d; wearier pigs, 16s 6d, 16s, to 15s 6d. Poultry, hens 3s 9d to 3s, ducks 5s 3d to ss.* Wheat brought from 7s to 6s 9d per bushel, barley seconds 4s 3d, potatoes 13s <od to 12s, pollard (2001b5.) 225, bran (ISOlbs.) 10s 6d. Prominent in the furniture, the oak furniture made satisfactory prices. A sideboard brought £11, Morris chairs £3 15s, art chairs 2Ss, duchess chests £4 15s to £2. Apples 6s 6d to os per case. •
