Mr Gordon P. Robertson, who was a member of the staff of Messrs Wintringham and Mitchell, and who went Home for the purpose of joining the Royal Flying Corps, is now a Government inspecting engineer (with the rank of lieutenant) at an aeroplane factory in England.

While cycling along the Port Road (states the. Nelson Mail) Miss Hilda Small had the misfortune to sustain, a broken leg through her bicycle skidding. The break is near the ankle. Miss Small was to have left Nelson shortly en route to Samoa, where she is to engage in missionary work. Her departure will now be delayed for a month or two.
