INTERJECTION IN PARLIAMENT
A short interlude regarding the exira New Zealand Rifle Brigade durmg the Prime Minister's, long speech m the House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon, after Mr Massey had enumerated various well-known perso?is he had seen in England:— A member: "What about General uodley? Mr Mwissey: "General Godley is in command of the Army Corps."' "Why did you use up our reinforcements for ihe fovmation of another Jmgade ?" asked Dr Thacker. ' Mr Massty said that was a matter for tiie Imperial Government^ The men were there, and had to be utilised. The new Brigade would not require to be reinforced, and would be regarded as reinforcements.
