The conscription debate in the Canadian House of Commons is likely to be lengthy, but a majority for the passage of the Bill is assured. _ Mr Neely pointed out that Britain had conscripted wealth as well as men, and Canada ought to do the same. n , The press of both parties demand that Canada'should follow the Australasian example by confiscating war profits. .
