Australian and N.Z. Cable Association WASHINGTON, June 17. ■ Much interest is being taken -in the Japanese Note, to America. It did not endorse America's Note to China, in which America appealed for the adjustment of internal differences. Japan declines to take similar action. ■ .'
The officials believe that Japan's attitude is based on a claim to paramount interest in China, but the Note does.not mention this. Britain's reply was similar to that of Japan.,
