GKEJyMOUTH,- April 36. Patriotic candidates were returned at the Borough Council elections yesterday, being returned in toto. Mr W. H. Parfitt headed the poll with 1324 votes, the lowest of the nine eeleeted polling HIS. Tlie Labor Party, who made the issue one of conscription, ran six candidates. Mr J. Goodall, who sought re-election as a Labor candidate, polled <6o votes, and the lowest Labor candidate polled 460. The election proved that Greymonth is loyal, mid supports the enforcement of the Military
Service Act.
