VICTORY FOR. THE GOVERNMENT.

At the elections the Government were victorious. It is estimated that the Government won • 217' seats jmd the Opposition IG4. This is interpreted as a vote of confidence in the leadership of Count Teranchi, who is expected to emphasise Japan's suprort of tlie Entente.
