If it is correct that he only attended 13 meetings out o*- 2S of the Council this'.,last- term, and then generally camo very late, and in two years oh th<>, Hospital Board only attended two meetings out of M held, then su'roly wo can. get' better representation than this. ■ I always understood we .put him there as a good brake,on all the progi-esa. that .the. firebrands would try to bring off, and as a watch-dog; but it seems now he is never there to carry put this duty for us,.
