Tlie monthly series of gift afternoons, in aid of' St. Peter's Church were resumed on Thursday afternoon la-st at the residence of. Mrs F. C. Cowper. The attendance was well up to r.he average, and tjte gifts totalled £2 12s. An interesting composition "shu^P.e tints," was won by Mrs Hollis Afternoon ten. was supplied jointly by Mesdames Henderson and C'owper, and a very pleasant couple of jjours was spent by nil.
