(Received Jan. 8, 10.10 a.m.) • v ' ■:•■ LONDON, Jan. 7. Lord Buckmaster, speaking at Keighley, said that all peace proposals ought to be xmblished, but not summarily rejected. Neither for glory nor for vengeance ought the war to be prolonged for an hour. Every fair means by which a lasting and honorable peace could be secured ought to be welcomed, but no peace could be lasting or honorable xinless it prevented a repetition of this war in future and provided reparation for the past.
