Sir Douglas Haig' reports:—An enemy raiding party entered our lines southward of Loas. After heavy fighting the enemy were speedily driven out ; leaving a number of dead. Some British are missing.

We successfully exploded a mine northward of Givenehy, and bombarded trenches opposite Les Boeufs and Gueudecourt, westward of Gomnieconrt, and in the neighborhood of Hill 60,
