Tlie Mexican Government iiis Yucatan lias declared war on the! United States., and has ordered all Americans to leave Mexico.
Some lighting occurred between the} crew of an American gunboat ancl Oarranzistas at Mazatlan, near the! entrance to the Gulf of California.
The United States lias called- out* the States militia, numbering 100,-* 000, and 50,000 regulars. All the troops that the United States is able to spare are now on| the Mexican bolder. There is great excitement through* out Mexico against Americans. The United. States expedition.^ which.-are chasing tho bandits hav^ been recalled. It is hinted that German influence is at the bottom of the uprising.
