SICK AND WOUNDED SOLDIERS.
THREE VESSELS RETURNING
WELLINGTON, March 14
The Minister for Defence has received a cablegram stating that the hospital ship Maheno is returning to New Zealand with 315; sick_ and wounded, some from hospitals in the United Kingdom and others from Egypt. •-■' The Minister states that the decision of the military authorities to let the Mahono make the, trip was a wise one. A hospital ship is not required in the Mediterranean at present, and it was advisable to-clear the hospitals of old cases aftd make preparations for fresh casualties' when the spring and summer campaigns began. ■ •!-...
