PROTEST MEETING OF MARRIED
MEN,
(Received March 13. 8.20 a.m.) LONDON, March 12. The Government has promised! Lord Derby that Mr Asquith's pledge to married Derbyites will be> faithfully observed. Married, men have be«n holding protest meetings. The new non-combatant corps will, wear its own badge. It will not be trained in squad drill or field, engineering, and will not bear arms. The officers will be regulars unfit for general service.
