probable that nothing further in the form of increased taxation would be required. He qualified that by emphasising the impossibility oi: forecasting t'ne actual position in the future Ho was hopeful that the war would be over, but he was satisfied that ii ii: should prove otherwise all sections of the community, recognising the enormous value of the issue, would gladly meet requirements.
