Griffiths I'ros., Ltd , report having held a very successful furniture sale at the residence of Mr W. Jackson * George Street, yesterday afternoon., There was a very large attendances bidding throughout was animated., and practically a. general clearances' was made. The principal lots sold were : Piano, £25; Duchess chests, £4 to £3; carpet square, £4; runner, £2 2s; bedsteads £2 ss; washstands, £3 10s to 18s; ware. 275.
