The Archbishop of Canterbury officiated at Miss Violet Asquith's marriage at St. Margaret's. Diplomatists," Members of the Cabinet, and Members of both Houses were present.

The interior of the church was beautifully decorated with orango blossoms. An immense crowd accorded an ovation to the bride and her father on arriving. The King and Queen gave a brooch with the Royal ciphers and crown.
