ATTEMPT TO BRIBE STEAMER'S

(Received Nov. 30. 0.35 p.m.) NEW YORK. Nov. 29. Emil Olsen, master of the steamer Unitai, hound from Philadelphia, to. Cadiz, gave evidence before the Hamburg-Amerika. investigation that a German .supercargo aboard the Unita. tried to get him to coal German warships in the West Indies in September, 1914. Olsen refused, declaring that he had cleared for Cadiz and intended to go to Cadiz at all costs. The .supercargo tried bribing him with £2000, but Olsen declared himself to f.'P'ft British citizen, and he would not 'joal the German warships if offered a million dollars.
