Naudeau, at Russian headquarters, states that the" Austro-Ger-raans are constructing^ immense fortifications along the rear between tlie approaches to Riga, and the Dniester. Thousands of navvies are working day and night around Lemberg with • a view to stopping'the Slav wave which is now re-forming for the westward advance.
