UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE
ELECTIONS
CONTIDENCE OF GENERAL
BOTHA
[Press Association.] (Received Oct. 21, 8.40 p.m.) CAPETOWN, Oct. 21. There is uncertainty regarding the general elections. General Botha is confident. It s'.-ems clear that the Nationalists cannot hope to win more, than forty seats .nit of 130. It is doubtful whether General Botha can command a majority without the Unionists' support, but this is assured. Labor is very weak.
