GIRL USES A HAT-PIN
[Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 20. M:.rjorie Cardno was acquitted Jit the Magistrate's Court to-day on a i:harj;e of assaulting Geoige Clarke t.o a.s to cause him bo-lily harm. The uoimd was made by a hat-pin. This girl said that Clarke tried to Uiss-her, and she used the pin in selfdefence.
