A Paris cablegram reports tho death of Senator Ber-enger, author of tUo First Offenders, Act-. The death is announced, by c-.tble message from Sydney, of the Right Rerv. C. G. Barlow, Bishop of Goulburn, aged oii years. Lieutenant-Colonel K. H'oaton Rhodes, wlio Ls to make investigations in the New Zealand base in Egypt on behalf of the Government, will leave* Welluigton on Thursday.
