METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
ANNUAL TEA AND CONCERT
In spite of the cold weather, there was a good attendance at the tea and concert held in Wesley Hall on Thursday evening. The tables were laden with good things, reflecting credit on the lady teachers and the parents. At the after-meeting the chair was taken by Mr W. Jordan, superintendent, who referred to the loss sustained to the Bible classes and school by the enlistment of several of'the members, each 'of whom .had been presented with a pocket Testament on his departure. The Rev. B. F. Roth well spoke of the need for enthusiasm ,'m Sundayschool york, urging members as'much as possible to continue "business as usual.'' Ail encouraging report was read by the secretary, Mr J. Rose. , Tlie following programme was rendered:—Prayer; chairman's address: recitation, Joan Buck ; song, Infants ; song. Misses, Da vies (en nor ed); secretary's report, Mr J. Rose; pianoforte duet, Misses Cuthbertson and Jordan (encored); address. Rev. B. ;F. Rothwell : .song, Infants (encored); trio, -Misses Davies (encored); recitation, Bert Buck (encored); song, Mr J. Rose (encored). : A pleasant gathering was closed by the singing of the Doxo'iogy.
