LONDON, July 5 The stoarner -Anglo-Cjilifoi.-nia.il, which has arrived at Qneenstowii, reports having been shelled by a sub- j marine. The captain made ifu daring nnd skilfui attempt- to evade the enemy. Several shells struck the vessel, and killed the captain a.nd tev. «.»f the crew. Eight were wounded.
