LEAGUE. The annual meeting of the Marlborough Rugby Football League will be held to-morrow evening ais the Empire Hotel.; ASSOCIATION. Following is the team to represent the Springlands school m the "Soccer" competitions: M. Strange (coal), |U Ewart, G. Herd, TF. O.tgood, L. ! Goslin, O. Sdnvass, M. Saul (capt.), !W. Mears, H. Jackson, H. Hale, ana W. Nairn. The following will represent the third-class team of Excelsiors against Springlands at the Domain on Saturday at 1.30 p.m.: Thomson, Bay, Humphreys, M. Murray, F. Shaw, C Gear, H. Mills, W. Nairn, H. Simmons, W. Agar, R. Sutherland, and T. SatdierJey. The following mil represeirfc the Excelsior seniors in their match with the Swifts on the Domain oii Saturday at 3 p.m.—Hooson. Penny, Shaw, Jackson, Staoey, B'onsill. Yercoe, Piffard, K. Maurice, L. O'Brien, ' and Ellis. RUGBY. The Moutere Club will open its season on Saturday with a, match on the Ferry grounds. All members and intending members are requested to be present.
