FULLERS' PICTURES.

There is every indication of a very big crowd being pi-esent to-hight (Friday) at His Majesty's Theatre, when, in conjunction with a new and varied series of pictures, Fullers' are holding a comic song competition; an event that appears to have aroused irritch interest locally. The contest is being.v"run" on the lines%of a Lonfkai- ' 'free-an3-easy," - anyone-ill.t h©; audience being allowed, to compete, singing. irfthMieir own accompanist, Off the picture accompanist (Mr W. Foster (Shivers), or without any accompaniment at all, as they choose. Only oomio songs are allowed, and- the audience will be asked to judge the beet.^ The star picture of the evening is a three-reel sporting dramaentitled ."From Circus to Racecourse," a story of circus and racing life, which is said to be brilliantly colored, and perfectly acted. It contains many vivid depictions of a giant circus, and superb spectacles 01 the "sport of kings/ "The Riot" is said to be a "star" . among comiu films, and has kept audiences in roars of laughter wherever screened. A; contemporary says of this film: "It is 'One Round O'Brien' and' 'A Noice from the Deep' knocked into one." There are other attractive items which will be shown if time per^mits. The usual matinee will be held to-morrow.'
