Visoount Murray gave evidence before the Marconi., Committee inquiring into his Marconi transactions that he had- commenced to make good the amount tile Liberal party had lost by his trusteeship. He had repaidl the loss on Marconis, but it would probably take several years to repay the other £38,000. However, the Liberal party would get. it. He could not «efend his attitude in connection with Feriner, but he did1 not proceed «gainet him. in the hope of ultimately getting some of the money back.
